Ich will Kleider schaffen, die etwas Selbstverständliches haben und doch auf diskrete Art die Aufmerksamkeit auf ihre Trägerin lenken. Nicht das Label steht im Zentrum, sondern die Frau, die es trägt. Ich will meine Kundinnen kleiden, nicht verkleiden. Die Kundin kommuniziert mit dem Kleid und über das Kleid, definiert Zugehörigkeit und Individualität. Kleider von Paradis sind keine Wegwerfprodukte, sie werden aus hochwertigen Materialien und unter fairen Bedingungen produziert und müssen über die Saison hinaus aktuell und kombinierbar bleiben. Ganz wichtig ist mir der Dialog mit meinen Kundinnen. Es macht mir Spass zu experimentieren, Risiken einzugehen und neue Lösungen zu finden, eine eigene Formensprache zu entwickeln.

Gegründet wurde paradis des innocents 1991. Seither sind wir stetig gewachsen und vom Kreis 4 erst ins Oberdorf und vor zehn Jahren in unmittelbare Nähe der Bahnhofstrasse gezogen. Viele unserer Kundinnen haben uns seit den Anfangsjahren begleitet und sind zu Freundinnen geworden. Die Arbeitsbedingungen der Näherinnen, die unsere Modelle fertigen, sind uns genauso wichtig wie die Zufriedenheit unserer Kundinnen. Fast alle unsere Modelle werden deshalb in kleinen Serien im Tessin gefertigt. Wir verwenden hochwertige Materialien und sind flexibel, wenn es um Spezialwünsche unserer Kundinnen geht. Die individuelle Beratung ist unser oberstes Ziel. Von Basics für den Alltag bis zum eleganten Abend- oder Hochzeitskleid ziehen wir Sie für jede Situation passend an.

An der Oetenbachgasse arbeiten Modeberaterinnen und Designerinnen Hand in Hand. Im gemeinsamen Gespräch und in der Zusammenarbeit von Design, Produktion und Verkauf entstehen neue Ideen. Meine Mitarbeiterinnen im Atelier und im Design sind zeitweise auch aktiv im Verkauf tätig und lernen so die Kundinnen und Ihre Bedürfnisse kennen.
Im Team ist Maria, die unsere Kundinnen aktiv und mit grossem modischen Flair im Laden berät. Barbara arbeitet im Atelier, sie näht Unikate und passt die gekauften Stücke an. Maya ist verantwortlich für die Designentwicklungen und die Koordination der Produktionsabläufe.
Seit mehr als 20 Jahren bereitet unsere erfahrene Schnitttechnikerin Andrea die Schnitte für die Produktion der Modelle vor. Mit unseren Lieferanten und Manufakturen im Tessin, in Kroatien und Italien pflegen wir eine wunderbare und langjährige Zusammenarbeit.

My goal is to create dresses that are unpretentious yet still discretely draw attention to the wearer. The focus is not on the label, but on the woman wearing it. I wish to dress my clients, not overdress them. Through the dress and in wearing the dress, the client conveys a sense of belonging and individuality. Dresses made by paradis are not throw-away items – they are made using high-quality materials, produced under equitable working conditions, and designed to be fashionable and combinable beyond the current season. Maintaining a constant dialogue with my clients is of utmost importance to me. I love to experiment and take risks to find new solutions, thus developing my own design vocabulary.

paradis des innocents was founded in 1991 and has continued to grow ever since. Our first move was from District 4 to Oberdorf, then ten years ago, we moved to the immediate vicinity of the Bahnhofstrasse. Many customers have remained loyal to us since our early days and have become friends. The working conditions of the seamstresses who produce our designs are just as important to us as the satisfaction of our clients, therefore most of our designs are made in small quantities in Tessin. We use high-quality fabrics and happily accommodate our clients’ special requests. Our primary goal is to provide one-on-one consultation. From every day basics to an elegant evening or wedding gown, we will dress you for every occasion.

In our Oetenbachgasse location, fashion consultants and designers work hand in hand. Close consultations and collaboration between design, production and sales blossom into new ideas. My studio and design colleagues occasionally work in the retail location so getting to know our clients and their requirements. Our team members include Maria, whose flair for fashion is much appreciated by our retail clients. Barbara work in the studio: she sew one-off pieces and adapt the purchased pieces. Maya is responsible for design and production coordination. For more than 20 years, our experienced pattern cutter Andrea has been preparing our designs for production. We also have a long-standing relationship with our fabric representatives and manufacturers in Tessin, Croatia and Italy.
